Sweet potato chips
D loves sweet potato chips but they are quite expensive to buy so he doesn't get to eat them very often. I was watching Gary Rhodes make some artichoke crisps to garnish a soup dish and thought, I can do that with sweet potato!
So, I used my potato peeler to make thin slices of sweet potato and fried them in a little bit of canola oil for about 20 seconds. They were awesome, except I oversalted them and most of them were not exactly edible. The idea works but my execution needs some work.
