Sydney Market Roundup - Good Living Pyrmont Growers' Market

Our very first market on our Sydney trip were the fantastic Good Living Pyrmont Growers' Markets. It was a beautiful day to be outside wandering around markets.

I loved seeing the different stalls and vendors in Sydney, it made the whole experience so much more awesome.

I must admit I don't really remember much about the stalls. I was too excited. I do remember that there were quite a few coffee stalls, the lines for all of them were so long! I've never seen queues that long at the Brisbane markets. DD chose to get coffee from a stall with a notably shorter line, but said it was one of the best coffees he's had.

We also saw the famous Eumundi Smokehouse stand but we decided not to line up for one of their breakfast offerings because of the queue. The stall was extremely busy and it was very difficult to get in to see their smallgoods.

There were flowers of all sorts and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. We saw lots of bread (yum!), beautiful olive oils and some wonderful looking meat stalls. We also saw ice cream sandwiches by Pat and Sticks and gorgeous cookies by Whisk and Pin.

Our only purchase (aside from the coffee) were some delightful chocolate shortbread biscuits from another stall whose name I can't remember. These shortbreads were beautiful and buttery and melted in your mouth. Unfortunately a packet of these got squashed in my handbag and we didn't get to eat them. DD was quite disappointed.

We didn't spend long here as it was a last minute decision to visit, but I hope that I get to come back another time for a better look.
